The project areas cover four community forests situated in neighbors of three camps in Mae Hong Son Province—Mae Surin, Mae Ra Oon, and Mae Ra Ma Luang. These community forests include Mae Tha Lu, Le Ko, Thung Paem, and Tor Pae, located in Sop Moei, Mae Sariang, and Khun Yuam. In addition, one national reserve forest in Khun Yuam districts is included as a reference to compare the intensity of impacts with the target sites.
